SDS Solution

SDS Solution is a detergent aqueous solution used in molecular biology and protein field. This anionic detergent is highly used in protein purification (solubilization of cell membranes & inclusion bodies and protein denaturation) and analysis (SDS-PAGE and sample preparation).
SDS binds to a protein adding a net negative charge to proteins, regardless of their isoelectric point, so they can be separated based on their size.

SDS Solution is presented at 10% and 20% in water molecular biology grade.
