TIARIZOL™ Reagent is a ready-to-use solution that makes it easy to isolate high-quality total RNA or even DNA, and proteins all at once from various biological samples. This single-phase mix of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate is specifically designed to separate RNA, DNA, and proteins from cell and tissue samples of human, animal, plant, bacterial, or yeast origin, and it gets the job done in under an hour.

TIARIZOL™ Reagent allows isolation of RNA, DNA, and proteins from the same sample. It has strong lysis capability, even for complex samples and it is an optimized formulation to obtain nucleic acids and proteins from tissues, cells, serum, viruses, and bacteria.

TIARIZOL™ helps maintain RNA integrity by effectively blocking RNase activity while breaking down cells and dissolving their components during homogenization. Its straightforward method lets you process a large number of samples at once. The full procedure can be completed in just one hour, and the resulting RNA is free of protein or DNA contamination.

Formulated for isolating multiple molecular targets. TIARIZOL™ Reagent allows you to sequentially precipitate RNA, DNA, and proteins from a single sample. After homogenizing the sample with TIARIZOL™ Reagent, chloroform is added, causing the mixture to separate into a clear upper layer (containing RNA) and lower red organic and interphase layers (containing DNA and proteins). RNA is precipitated from the aqueous layer using isopropanol. DNA is precipitated from the interphase/organic layer using ethanol. Proteins are precipitated from the phenol-ethanol supernatant using isopropanol. Each precipitate (RNA, DNA, or protein) is washed to remove any impurities and then resuspended for downstream applications.
