Accutase

Accutase® is an enzymatic mixture with protease and collagenase activity used as routine cell detachment solution. It provides a gentler treatment of adherent cells than trypsin, allowing their detachment from standard tissue culture plastics, adhesion-coated surfaces, and polymer-based substrates. Cells detached by Accutase® are suitable for analysis of cell surface biomarkers, flow cytometry of receptors or extracellular epitopes, assays of cell proliferation, virus growth assay, quiescence assays by serum starvation, transformation assays by oncogene transfection, etc.
