TiariSTAIN™ Green Safe

TIARISTAIN™ Green Safe is a new formulation to stain nucleic acids in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. It emits a green fluorescence when bound to nucleic acids. TIARISTAIN™ Green Safe has a strong excitation peak centered around 490 nm enabling the use of less DNA destructive blue light instead UV light (better low-pressure lamp, 254 nm). The dye has also two secondary fluorescence excitation peaks (~270 nm; ~290 nm). The fluorescence emission is centered at ~530 nm.
