PureSAL™-RNA was developed for the controlled and standardized collection of RNA from oral fluid specimens, ensuring their subsequent stabilization and analysis in life science and research applications.
The PureSAL™-RNA Collection Kit offers a simple, non-invasive, and rapid platform for isolating “liquid biopsy” specimens, including cell-free nucleic acids and exosomes, in a single step. The collected and purified saliva specimen is stabilized and ready for downstream applications such as PCR, genotyping, sequencing, and more.
PureSAL™ Collection Device utilizes a highly absorbent pad to collect saliva, effectively removing a high percentage of mucinous material that can interfere with downstream assays. The sample is further purified by compressing it through the compression tube of the device, which contains a proprietary filtration medium that removes additional interferents and large molecules. The purified sample is then directed into a standard collection tube and stabilized for immediate use or long-term storage pending analysis.
