Tiaris™ One-Step RT-PCR Kit

Overview

Tiaris™ One-Step RT-PCR Kit is designed for first-strand cDNA synthesis and subsequent PCR in a single-tube reaction procedure, decreasing contamination risk and reducing hands-on time considerably. The kit consists of a RT mix and a PCR Master Mix. The RT mix comprises a mutant M-MuLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and increased thermostability, and an advanced RNase inhibitor to impede RNA degradation. The Master mix contains all the reagent (except PCR primers and template) needed for running PCR reactions. The Tiaris™ One-Step RT-PCR Kit can be used with any RNA template, including mRNA, viral RNA and total RNA, as the RTase is not inhibited by rRNA or tRNA. The kit is optimized for rapid one-step, one-tube RNA quantification, reducing experimental variation and contamination with a convenient RT-PCR protocol.
