High-Q™ Agarose LE (Standard Agarose)

High-Q™ Agarose LE (Low electroendosmosis) is a high quality agarose specifically validated for genetic and molecular biology applications. It is a linear heteropolysaccharide composed of alternating D-galactose and 3.6-anhydro-L-galactopyranose units linked by α-(1→3) and β-(1→4) glycosidic bonds. This agarose is the standard agarose used in DNA electrophoresis.

• Low electroendosmosis values (0.05 – 0.13).
• Easy dissolution.
• DNase and RNase free.
• High mechanical gel strength: 1% ≥ 1200 g/cm².
• Gelling Point 36°C ± 1.5°C (1.5% gel).
• Melting Point 88°C ± 1.5°C (1.5% gel).

Applications

• DNA/ RNA electrophoretic separation.
• Nucleic acids migrated onto High-Q™ Agarose LE can be used for any downstream applications: blotting, cloning, NGS, proteomics, etc.
• Tissue and Caenorhabditis sp. cultures.
